Delivering business benefits in a small office environment

Dyno-Pest is a leading London pest control and business services provider. After the lockdowns, encouraging people delivering core functions back to the office was an imperative. The business
needed to rebuild morale, retain experienced staff, and recruit and train new talent.

Envelo was selected as part of the solution. Workflow, including control of air sterilisation, enabled Dyno-Pest to deliver major improvements
to health & wellbeing in the office, and demonstrate how the office building was looking after people.

Envelo has now become a fundamental part of Dyno-Pest’s office infrastructure. Sickness levels have fallen by over a third since workflow started. By using Envelo to control fresh air ventilation, it’s not only indoor air quality that’s improved; major energy savings have also been delivered resulting in further benefits to the bottom line.

Results for Dyno-Pest

Better health, wellbeing & productivity from improved indoor air quality & surface hygiene

39% energy cost-saving through improved ventilation control

Return on investment from Envelo of over 150% in year 1

“Envelo initially helped us encourage our team
back to the office after the lockdowns. We have since realised Envelo is here to stay. It’s a practical solution that means we have reduced sick leave, cut back on energy use and reduced outdoor pollution coming into the office. Crucially, everybody feels happier and
more productive. ”

show significant energy savings using internal & external temperature, power consumption and air changes.

Impacts on health & wellbeing before and with Envelo workflow

A study from 1 February 2022 to 31 January 2023 used continuous air quality measurements taken at the Dyno-Pest office every 5 minutes, together with regular surface testing. Envelo workflow was deployed from 1 August 2022. The charts show the time during operating hours when there is a moderate or severe impact to human health & wellbeing (based on thresholds for relevant parameters being breached), both before and with Envelo’s workflow being deployed.
